As administrative assistant, Edie is the first person people encounter when they come to Central Synagogue. She is a major factor in helping Jacob's Ladder and the synagogue run smoothly. On a daily basis, she interacts with Rabbi Gruber, Cantor Kohlbrenner, Robyn Teigman, the staff and parents of Jacob's Ladder and our congregants. She enjoys the variety of tasks that need to be accomplished each day.
Working at Central Synagogue for the past twenty one years has taught Edie the intricacies of synagogue life and has enabled her to become active in her own congregation.
Edie lives locally with her husband and is the proud mother of one daughter.
