PJ Library®, an award-winning Jewish family engagement program created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), strengthens Jewish identities and serves as an outreach and family engagement vehicle for Jewish organizations. In partnership with philanthropists and Jewish organizations around the world, PJ Library sends the gift of free, high-quality Jewish books every month to families raising Jewish children ages six months through eight years. As of 2014, PJ Library sends more than 300,000 books to families raising Jewish children throughout North America, Israel, Mexico and Australia as a gift from the Jewish community.

In addition to the books that children receive in the mail each month, our PJ Library® initiative sponsors a variety of programs throughout the year. Events include story times and holiday celebrations. These events give children a chance to further enhance their love of reading in a fun and social atmosphere.
